GM Credit card
« on: 13 November 2009, 20:14:40 »

Had one of them years and years ago.  Idea was that you bought stuff on the credit card (visa) which then earned you loyalty points which you could put towards the purchase of a new Vauxhall - after you had negotiated the deal with the garage, thus giving an additional saving.

Binned the card after about a year as it was obvious to me atbthat time that, irrespective of how much I used the card, I was never going to afford a brand spankers car.  That would be, minimum, 10 years ago when the account was cancelled and the card cut in half and returned..

Today, letter through the post telling me that SAAB purchase no longer applies to the points redemption process.

You can run but never hide.....   ;D
