Its dropped a lot in price then since the gas shortage a few years ago.
I last had the Omega done in July 2018 and the cheapest I could find was around £100 iirc.
Edit. Just looked up the groupon coupon / ATS thing and can get it done for £37.99 (half price) with a coupon.
Just got to work out how to get one of the coupons now. Shouldnt be too difficult. If it is I will pass the job to the I.T. dept. (aka swmbo).

No government in at least the democratic part will continue to get votes if it were, in some form of farce, to push on with those reforms. Even the likes of China will not go along with it as it would take power and money await from their elite.
It is just a joke, but no doubt a few nutters will believe it all!
30 years ago most people would have said exactly the same about many of the things that are now part of our everyday lives.

As I sat in my my Omega (parked) today, outside a hospital for 2 hours, in the heat I rued not getting my aircon regassed when it crossed my mind about a month ago.
I would happily have sacrificed the petrol to have the engine running and an icy blast from the vents.

They recently tasered a 90+ one legged man who was getting unruly in a care home, and he died.
Where is the outrage, the protests, the pulling down of statues ?
He lived in England and wasnt a serial criminal thousands of miles away.
I suppose " One legged old age pensioners lives matter", doesnt have quite the same ring to it.

« on: 11 August 2022, 12:27:54 »Ive had a couple of months of manic hours at work, and running around after the outlaws as they both have serious health issues, so Pierre has sat forlorn on the drive.Fingers crossed.
This morning I went out and fitted a new cambelt , timed it up carefully, and it fired up and sounded fine. No warning lights, fault codes etc.
Got a load of bits and pieces to refit before I can actually drive it, and its too bloody warm at the moment, so hope to finish it off tomorrow morning before it gets too hot.
Im pretty hopeful though..........until next time.That bleedy thing owes you at least a week of hassle free motoring...
It obviously doesnt agree.
Oil pissing out of the cam seal. I replaced it earlier in the year and used an SKF speedi sleeve to cover the scoring on the nose of the shaft. Something has caused it to leak again, so new camshaft and seal needed this time I think.
I just hope it doesnt spontaneously combust in this hot weather.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of him. Is it right that the U.S. Political establishment are using every and any means possible to make sure he doesnt get the chance to stand for election again ?
Personally I think he is an inarticulate ignoramus, but his basic gut instincts are generally not far off what is right.
Sleepy Joe, Harris, Pelosi etc. etc. are very dangerous people whose thinking is very wrong indeed.
