hey all

new member and new to omegas, just bought a '99 2.5 CDX saloon in star silver, very nice!

lucky to get a two owner example that looks like it's barely ever been used, in immaculate condition though 89,000 miles but insignificant given its condition.

will get involved on the boards when i get time, they look like a very valuable resource for owners so thanks in advance for all the help you're all going to give me :oP

Welcome sam to the forum, 89,000 thats nothing, only just run in, keep it serviced and belt kit fitted and it will see 3 times that.

cheers for the warm welcome everybody, i'll be sorting some pics soonish and will get them up when i do with further info about the car.

it's first owner was Balfour Beatty and it must have been driven just to work and back by some exec as i have mots and it's service record to prove the mileage.

some very nice looking motors on here, i'm impressed at how these things look with a few extras, a lot of presence on the road. will be treating mine soon to a few minor cosmetic mods (boot lip spoiler & wheels probably) but first on the list is a full service & belt change (with sensors) as it had it done at 50K so definitely due around about now.

anyway, enough chat, i'll reserve that for the appropriate section!
