yes greyhound food

with the growing number of greyhound owners on here i wondered 1) what you fed them and 2) how often

ours is a large male he gets fed twice a day in the morning he has buiscuits/dry food and a tin of dog food early evening plus anything he can beg, rob, scronge.

Favourite food is sausage rolls, he knows when theres some in the fridge unfortunatley someone taught him to jump up and take them from thier mouth all went ok until the silly sod did it to wifey  not good, not good at all

for the dried food i found this company very cheap MedicAnimal ltd 15kg ( huge bag) of greyhound country value is 15.50 and delivery is usaually free other items are quite cheap but all dried dog food seems really cheap

Ours is a very large male.

We use burgess greyhound and lucher, about 250 g's twice a day, about lunch time and mid evening.

He tends to get a tin of sardines in oil / or ketchup on the lunchtime one, and a spoon of veg oil on the evening one.

plus the odd dog treat, dentastix etc.

blimey i thought doggy was spoilt  we have tried everything for bad breath but nothings worked so far

He wont always get this much 'extra'  We are giving it as his coat needs the extra to improve from kennel life.

I always have fed mine horse (from Sainsbury's) so they can run like one.

ours eats like a horse and poops like one too, you never really see a fat greyhound

thats not true i am going on a bike ride with tunnie next week

its on a tandem  that will make him puff dragging me along, probably need some wider tyres though and a bigger saddle

Our current racers are fed mixer with fresh meat or chicken - currenlty on roast beef joints from Tescos (reduced price!)  Others get mixer plus either chicker, minced beef or tinned.

ours is deffinatley retiered from racing dbug well unless foods at the end of it, mind you he does gaurd the house all day and night bless him

Ok, i know Hollydog isnt a greyhound.......but she gets Wag dry ( i usually buy the working dog variety, coz its cheaper for some reason, just give her a bit less of it, its probably got more sugar in it) twice a day, the evening feed she get 2 teaspoons of cod liver oil on it as well (helps with her joints and coat condition )
