Wanted: Standard GM V6 estate twin oulet backbox
« on: 16 June 2013, 21:39:13 »

As per title.  Looking for a GM backbox off a facelift 3.0 or 3.2.

Ideally the twin-walled type, but not essential.  Must be in good condition with no baffle rattle.   :y

You will struggle to find one. Might be better off getting one from ETS on Ebay, very impressed with mine and an excellent price.

Are not all Estate back boxes essentially the same except the tail pipes?

Got a brand new cat back 2.0 exhaust in the garage. Been trying to get rid of it for ages  ;D

I don't think so Mark.  Yours will only have a single pipe entry to the backbox, V6's have 2 pipes.  :y

Can someone tell me what the GM part number is for a 3.2 estate backbox please?

I've been given the nod to a couple for sale, but need to confirm that it's the correct part.  :y

Quite right, I'm thinking of 2.2 system which also does have 2 into back box.  :)
