Who enjoys a dram or two??
« on: 18 June 2014, 22:35:24 »

I know most folks on OOF enjoy a wee drop of 'the creature' from time to time.

That said, anyone got any miniatures hanging around from grannies estate clearance or your uncles inheritance?

Given the value versus space taken, got to be worth a wee explore...

Can't stand the smell of whisky, let alone the taste.

Cognac for me, I buy Balluet direct from the producer. Although a bottle lasts me most of a year, as I'm not a big drinker.

I've got two 70cl bottles of 1976 Milburn put away as an heirloom for my two daughters, where it should be worth a few bob in 30-40 years time. :) The distillery closed in 1985 and most of the buildings were demolished when the site was redeveloped, so they won't be making anymore. :)

I am a fan of Laphroaig and Lagavulin myself.  :y  but in reality I'll drink anything, even Unicum.  :P

I see the 1975 is £499.00 a bottle. :y :y
