Nope, sorry guys, not a car.

SWMBO and I were quite busy on Monday night and Tuesday morning. Here's the product................. (Oh, I've already sorted the date on my camera!!)

Her name's Layla Farr Black. She was born at home at 0350 on Tuesday morning after a 24hr labour!!

After the birth all the fingers and thumbs were counted and verified.

The ruffian with the red and black jumper is her big brother Jude.

It's been emotional and I've spent the last two days resisting the urge to bawl my eyes out!!

(This parenting lark turns you into a big ball of jely I tell you!!)

If it's any consolation, this is the easy bit .... wait till they're 17 & 18!
17 yr girl is great most of the time - 18 yr lad is a PITA most of the time

Can still remember the first time i saw my daughter, well done and enjoy. Remember you try to get them to start to talk then for the next 18 years+ to shut up.

You can take a well earned rest ........ in about 25 years or so.

I've got three of the litter ~~buggers~~ darlings myself, but there'll be no more now ...... that particular problem has been taken care of.

Sincere congrats Rod - this was me last year, my littlest girl is 1 on the 29th.

Yeah, sorry about that bud'. I know I was taking a bit of a liberty, but the mechanic at the garage where the car is was starting to try to put lots of horrific thoughts in my head. I was fairly certain it couldn't be anything terribly serious, but couldn't think on anything, but I wanted to get back to him before he closed for the night. Plus SWMBO

FWIW, he wasn't convinced, but having had a look at SWMBO's V6, I am!! It's bleedin' obvious when you look at it isn't it?

Well, it's early days yet, but I hgave to say that she's an absolute pleasure.

She sleeps about 23 and a half hours out of the day, only wakes every five hours or so to feed and that's about it!!

I ain't slept so well in months!!
