Mine sits around 80/85 most of the time, up to just over 90 where the fans start, so keep an eye on it for a while before you rush out and change the 'stat. It may well be normal.

Okies thanks for the info .. its just well cooler than the 2.5 was... I'm going to check the stat opening tomorrow.. the easy way .. just hold the top hose while it warms up !!

And for Miggy .. it's "Champagne"  ..  :)

Same colour as mine, great as it doesn't show up the dirt much...

you have what i want, colour spec and engine, don't tell me it has colour sat nav otherwise........... ;)

very good color , will not need to wash and wax frequently :)

My is at about 80-85 on the motoway at then about 90-92 before the fans kick in sound just right. Look forward to pics.   :y

I get the impression that facelifts run cooler (or at least the guage shows cooler) than pre facelifts.    I know pre facelift stat starts to open at 92.5,   but from reading posts it seems that facelifts always run lower (or they all have stuck stats..)

The gauge is marked differently on Facelifts. Where a pre facelift is marked at 90, facelift says 80. Don't know if the actual temperature is any different. Dash gauges are hardly accurate, but the position of the pointer on the scale remains about the same.
