10-4-2-10
10-4-3-10
10-7-10-4

0420, 0430 both common on the DBW cars .. loads of info about them.. can be ignored, but will hide "other" problems as the light stays on - Decent fuel and a hard drive "might" clear them ... but they will return

0704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction

Can't answer that one as I don't have a clutch !!!

Clutch switch can probably be ignored on a 3.2 manual if cruise is not fitted or working normally, which leaves us with the usual pre-cat issue.

Easiest way to remove down pipes is when hot.
Try to crack the nuts first by either trying to tighten up or undoing them when cracked spray threads with oil and spin nuts off,
On reassembley put copper slip on threads and use new nuts n washers m10 nuts.

apart from the light on and high fuel consumption what other issues can be attributed to this fault ?

The fault will not cause any issues, including high fuel consumption.

bugger what could be causing the high fuel consumption poor running when cold  and hesitation under certain conditions that wont throw up a trouble code . when the light came on i dipped the clutch and the engine did not like revving past 5k but when in gear it would pull cleanly through  to the red line ?
