Elite Estate Boot Cubbyholes wanted
« on: 06 September 2012, 16:29:59 »

Hi, I am after the pair of plastic 'trims' to form cubbyholes over the wheel arches in the boot of an estate.

They were only fitted to some elite's by defaults as far as I can tell.

In a dark colour, not cream please.

Thanks

AFAIK fitted to all estates with BOSE due BOSE filling the storage rooms on sides of boot. I'm also after them, seem to be very difficult to get.

You could be right, EPC does mention 'with sound system'

cheers, the plastic 'boxes' over the wheel arches like these....

secured with one or 2 bolts accessible through the panels, and the other end needs 1 screw removing to release the trim, and 1 bolt for the seat securing catch then you can get at the one bolt on the other end.

I AM right, I just know it.  :P They were designed and fitted to replace the lost storage rooms due the BOSE equipment being in the cubby holes on both sides.

They are very useful.....

Aren't they a pain to fit, involving taking out and replacing loads of trim and carpet?

Is it an easy fix?

But the attaching screws have to come from the 'outside -in' (through the carpet) don't they?  ??? That involves taking the trim out I understand
