My old gayPhone I put an old IOS on it so it ran as well as it did when I first got it, and gave it to my Mum. She loves it, but then she came from a crappy Samsung flip phone, that was a hand-me-down from my niece.

Then if you are ready to bin it,Why not offer it for free to others on here who may look at it as a upgrade,,, Thats what i have done in the past on here,  :y
As suggested in thread, this is not compliant with our guidelines I'm afraid.

I agree with the sentiment of offering OOFers our offcasts, but there are other considerations that make it a can of worms  :'(. Hence, I'm always taking PCs and laptops down to the tip, most of them perfectly servicable. Embarrassingly, I now need one that I threw away. Bugger  ;D

You're not allowed to offer stuff on here, apparently.

As mentioned earlier Freecycle is good for unloading stuff that you can't bring yourself to take to the tip.  Gumtree is also good!  :y

Do you want to buy a 3com III Ethernet link circa 2003? Quite progressive in its time.

Now $3.99 on ebay?
How many do you want? I still keep a few for those get-me-out-of-trouble occasions. And a couple of Novell NE2000 ISA cards.

Is there anything left still working to plug those in to? :o

They were what I spent the first year or two of my working career fitting.. that and 10base-2 networks..

I actually used one a year or 2 ago, somebody had a Compaq Prosignia running NetWare 4 with a failed NIC.
