General Discussion Area / Service
« on: 28 March 2008, 21:35:15 »
As most of you probably know I am relatively new to this forum. I am not very good on car mechanics but know enough to get by with very simple problems. I have only owned my CDX for less than 2 months and she went for her first service today to keep the book stamped. I went to pick her up and hoped that my local mechanic would not tell me anything bad about the car. (I have used this garage for 15 years and trust the guy). He put my mind at rest when he said there are no problems and it is a nice clean, straight car.   :) :)

A reminder to any sad people like me. Road wars on Sky three tonight at 9pm. Usually plenty of Omegas on there, mostly unmarked with the occasional logo'd up one! ::)

Just out of interest, are there any owners of Omegas with amazingly high or incredibly low miles? My 2001 has done 72k which I suppose is fairly average. :-/

2 cannibals are eating a clown. The first cannibal turns to the other and says, "Does this taste funny to you?" ;D :y

Two male flies were buzzing around in search of good looking females. One spotted a real cutie sitting on a pile of cow dung and dived down towards her. "Pardon me," he asked with his best manners, "but is this stool taken?" ;)

Two married buddies were out drinking one night. One turned to the other and said: "It's a real problem. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I switch the headlights off before turning into the driveway, I shut off the engine and coast into the garage, I take off my shoes before entering the house, creep up the stairs, get undressed in the bathroom, ease gently into bed without disturbing the duvet and STILL my wife wakes up and yells at me for staying out late."
His buddy took a swig of beer and said:"You are doing it all wrong! I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the stairs, kick my shoes off, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's ass and say, "How about a blow job?"...........................................and she is always sound asleep" ;)

General Discussion Area / What is your favourite?

What is your favourite tipple? Me, I like pale strong bitters, continental lagers (Stella is my favourite), Gin and Tonic (Gordons with Schweppes) and occasional whisky (a nice single malt). ;)

Not keen on red wine, brandy or rum. :(

Sean Connery had fallen on hard times. His work had completely dried up. One day out of the blue his agent rang and said: "Sean, I've got a job for you. Starts tomorrow, but you've got to be there early, for 10ish."  Sean frowned: "10ish? But I haven't even got a racket!" ;D
