Hello all... prospective owner. (Hopefully 2.5TD)
« on: 27 July 2010, 22:20:50 »

Good evening all.

I am a veteran of many motoring forums, so I know what an information goldmine they are, aswell as a good source of well taken care of cars.

Which is what brought me here really.

Today I had an epiphany, that a 2.5TD saloon or estate would be a perfect new family car for me.

There aren't many cars out there that are spacious, reliable, cheap to buy and run, and still maintain a semblence of being fun to drive.

Got a 1999 Civic at the moment as my daily runner, but it isn't big enough in the back for my daughters car seat, and in the boot for all her guff aswell as anything the missus and I might want to take with us.

However, can't post in the wanted until 50 posts, I'm annoyed I didn't come on here a week earlier so I could have ripped this chaps arm off! http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1279738881

Never mind.  ::)

So I'll be hanging around for a while I should think, even after I've managed to pick one up.  :y

Based in East Bedfordshire in case anyone is interested.

Thank you chaps. This forum makes a refreshing change and I do feel most welcome.

Skruntie, if it didn't say provisionally sold, I would have given a go at getting in contact, believe!  :y

They seem to be a little thin on the ground, but unfortunately my budget isn't extensive as I've got a second car that sucks up most of my cash. (+ my daughter, the little greedy guzzle-guts.)
