Help needed

On my r reg pre facelift omega im having trouble with the remote keyfob which only works when it feels like it and ive replaced the battery with a new one but still the same ive been told to chk the reciever on the car anyone know where the reciever is on the early models??

Ive bought a 2nd fob but needs to be coded to the car to which vauxhall wants 35.50+VAT

Mine does the same. Never figured out the snag.


I have a second key which i need to get programmed by TB when i next go to my mothers as i pass his on route.

and the guy who sold me the car said theres a master key that comes with the car and he didnt have it and is this hy my key wont unlock drivers door?

Probably needs the battery contacts re-soldering.

I may be in Chester (Saltney) a week on Saturday and have tech 2 for programming, no master key required but you do need a car pass with the immobiliser pin number on it.

That would be great if ya could take a look at it for me id be very greatfull and i think ive got the car pass :)
