Omega handbrakes.  I don't recall them being that hard to reassemble before....   ....has time rose tinted my glasses?
The last spring was always a fighter, but no better/worser than any other drum brake system.

First question though, you did put the lever in the released position and back the adjusters right off first? >:D

You can't grumble about a company and freely work there.

Get it alot from people who took a settlement and left at the start of TCV because of comments on a Faceachebook post and then came back because the settlement ran out and do nothing but complain about how shit it is that they're on a new rather than legacy contract and how shit the company is. ;D

Actually it's as annoying as it is funny but if the company is that bad, either work for a different one or suck it up. Either way take some some responsibility for the choices you make. Simples.

It's a proper gearbox... None of that chocolatey AR25  nonsense that the Omega got... Should be a 6L80E.

They were sold in OZ as dual fuel.

Can of petrol and box of Swan Vestas looming close by now, surely?
It's being sold as is.

For what they're being paid for it, might even wash it

Popped a video up of it doing just that.

It's spins over freely enough but sounds much like a non interference car when the cambelt snaps.

The front end of the engine bay fuse box slides out vertically. If that's what you mean then that's also normal  :y

The factory fuse panels under the dash are secured by two clips and two slotted hinges retained with screws. So probably normal  :y

Technically the exclusion zone served two purposes...

1. There's normally an exclusion zone in place around military vessels.

2. By keeping the little ships away from the freeloadersmigrants raft, it removed any requirement to go and rescue them should it sink.

Also, the men and women who went to rescue our troops, not to mention those troops, wouldn't have hesitated to offer help and shelter to those in genuine need*. That's what they fought and died for.

They must be turning in their graves at what this country has become.

* These 'migrants' arguably don't fit this category.

You'll never get a 2 digit code off a DBW car.

Any improvement with the MAF unplugged?

Weak/failing fuel pump would cause that type of behaviour.

Scanned the codes:

Got 4. Including one for Cam sensor no signal and one each for cam positions. One sensor was unplugged, but was hidden beneath all the vacuum gubbins. My bad :-[

Cleared them and two came back... Both cam sensors.

Popped off the oil filler as that's about the only easy way to view a cam, set up the camera and pressed start.

Cam no turn... Which is both pretty conclusive and pretty shit.

On positive note, the oil pump is working nicely  :D

Apparently so, but struggling to think what :-\

Will see if I can't get any codes off it. That might at least tell me what it's unhappy about...

Well, that means there's a number of quite important things you didn't fuŁk up.  :y
Er, thanks, I think ;D

Flattened the battery trying to start it.
