Lakes Tech2 stuff
« on: 12 June 2007, 18:51:36 »

Hopefully you've tested out any updates etc done at the lakes by now.  As agreed, if you are happy with the updates, see my standard pricelist (in the link in my signature) and take 20% off.  Obviously, no charge for reading and resetting any codes etc, only the updates and keys :)

PM me with preferred method of payment, and I'll let you know details.

As said at the time, if you do not think there is a significant improvement to gearboxes, no charge :)

Any feedback on what you think of gearbox is always welcome :)

Firstly Thanks..... :y

On improvements...well significant. Even SWMBO notices.

Smoother change at low speed on normal driving, quicker change on aggressive drive, more refined through range. And i think theres a few revs more top end before it changes.

Well Pleased and recommended upgrade  :y

( will send pm shortly Jamie)

The auto upgrade is superb, it seems to bite and go from standstill far much better than before, i dont know if this is one of the things it should have done but it has, also the changes are seemless both up and down the box and lock up locks up and stays locked up at around 50mph where as before any input from the right pedal made the box change down then up again. This has been a great improvment and i would highly recomend it to any one who can have it done.
I have only just got back in Jamie so will pm you tomorrow regarding payment.
Thanks again, Jez

Gearbox upgrade well worth doing, I thought my gearbox was smooth to start with but after the softwear upgrade from 07 to 09 it became virtuly seamless. It changes through the gears more readily and lock up is more positive I'm hoping that economy is going to improve i'll report on that in a few weeks. Thanks for a good job well done Mark :y
