Carbon fibre or wood trim? mine has the carbon fibre,which is a little dull i think in an all black car.
What do you lot think?

I just can't help but think the carbon fibre is a bit....... Nova-ish, if you know what i mean

Agreed, slightly less tacky in an Omega,but still,thinking of changing dash and console,and leaving the smaller carbon trims on the doors,little of both?

I personally hate the plastic wood that Vauxhall use and think it looks cheap and nasty, I've even resorted to spraying it black in the past, the carbon look trim is slightly better.

i have a wood center console and it gives my car a little bit of class but if ur into boy racing i suppose carbon would be quite cool

hmm, couldn't class a 3.0v6 as a boy racer car,the wood trim is so so, debating spraying it silver,just to seperate it,little too much black

Wood every time for me, and prefer it on the Mini facelift rather than the facelift as well.

Wood for me. It may not be the best quality(plastic), however it does add an air of quality to the car.

personally speaking, I prefer the pics you have shown, the mv6 carbon look to ANY other omega interior of any age.

There was one company on ebay in Germany that was selling all kinds of trims for the car interior, for the Omega they had some 10 different wood and metal types and some of them looked reallly nice. They were not reall trims but were mounted on the existing ones so were pretty cheap. Can't find the link though

Aye i vaguely remember them,though prob didnt fit very well,

though if i'm going to change it i'm taking the carbon out someone else might want it,

I have had both - several times. I do like the carbon fibre, but wood gets my vote every time.

Wood for me for sure. I think it looks better in the Facelift and pre. p.s. I am glad it is plastic, "real" wood didn't last very long.
