Sorry to any responsible cyclists on here, but it's exactly the situation that I see daily and NO police action is ever taken against them

If it were enforced more, I suspect there would be numerous allegations of "easy targets", "revenue raising", and comments that the police should be  better using their resources in times of national austerity as opposed to booking cyclists for road traffic offences.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't ..................  ::)
Such as booking motorists for RTO`s ::)

What`s good for the goose...............

Omega General Help / Re: Front wheel bearing
« on: 26 April 2017, 09:19:04 »
I fitted a Lucas one from ECP a couple of years ago Nige.
Seem to remember 65 quid rings a bell.
You will need some scaffolding and a long bar.
Watch out you don't smash the abs sensor when you abuse it off  ;)

I haven't done my front wheel bearing(s) but once hub nut off wouldn't the old unit just slide off? Or are these known for seizing? Most bolt on bearing/hub complete assemblies on other motors just slide off the stub axle after hub nut off.

I used Autovaux with no issues but I would think GSF or Euro Crap Parts would be similar in quality, I think I paid £35 a side.

Front hub nut is 200Nm and the the hub assembly just slides off  :y
320Nm

Omega General Help / Re: Seat conversion to Elite Leather

If seats are from a late model Elite with passenger child seat module fitted, DO NOT plug in the yellow rectangular connector, also will possibly need a TechII chat. Elite seat bolts needed as well due to longer length

A little-known clause in the World Trade Organisation rules would allow the UK to have a decade-long interim free trade arrangement with the EU, allowing more time for a bespoke deal to be stuck once Britain has left.
The provision is set out in Article 24 of the WTO’s General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade,
