£93.33.
« on: 10 February 2014, 16:27:40 »

This is the amount I've received for 4 full months of tax remaining on my SORN MV6.

Is this correct?

You can't trust the bastards, you know. ::) ::)

I'm getting almost 20 MPG out of the CLS. So who needs a diesel? ::) ::) ::) ;D

It seems to have two of almost everything. Two air filters and two batteries so far. ::) ???

..... Two air filters and  .....

Don't know about yours, but the two air filters on mine are a tw@ to fit! Though there's only one battery on mine, it lives under the driver's seat which apparently needs to be removed to remove the battery.  ???

Air filters are relatively easy to get at, Andy....... and cost about £15 for the pair from Ebay.

As for batteries ......it has a 12V 95 AH battery in the boot, and a 12V 12 AH battery under the bonnet. This is about the size of a motorcycle battery.  :y

So, have they got 2 dissimilar lead acid batteries bodged in parallel, fighting each other, because they found they couldn't get enough current up from the boot to start it, or is it more clever than that? ::)

I'm sure it's much more cleverer than that  8)

Pretty sure the little one up front is nothing to do with starting.  ;)

The handbook refers to the smaller battery as 'auxiliary'.......whatever that means. :)

Knowing the incompitence of Merc/AMG designers, I fear Kevin Wood may be nearer the mark...
