abs problem

hi lads new member from preston, and iv just bought a omega 2.5 gls est n a v reg, abs light is on, as is the traction control,and the speedo is not working, please help boys.

Symptoms are exactly those of the ABS ECU having failed internally. It's not a difficult, more a fiddly, job to change .. and its a fairly common problem .. lots of threads in Omega Help about it.

BBA-Reman can repair your existing one for around £130 ( well thats what it was 4 years ago !!  :)  )

checked out prices on ebay, but they sell the abs pump +the ecu, can you not just buy he ecu lads

ECU can be purchased from VX .. around £700 + VAT + tech2 sesion to setup

Best to ask this sort of question in Omega help TBH ... more folks read there than the welcome pages :)

hi boys alright, thank you for the info, iv no time to look about as i do 12 hour shifts, to be honest i did not think an abs ecu would cost as much, another member offered me a recon at 100, thank you for that mate. i will get back to you shortly, cheers boys
