Connectors for Tuning Box
« on: 26 February 2010, 07:49:34 »

Hi All
Can anyone describe or show photos of where a tuning box connects to on the 2.5td with air meter? The one I am thinking of getting has 4 connectors (ie in series in two cable runs) but i cant see where it would connect.

Agreed. Don't bother with a tuning box.

OK the chip man has offered me two chips: standard and aggressive. Anyone got any views on which one to choose?

Standard appears to be the best for drivability.

Aggressive more for track use I beleive.

How do find your fuel consumption....better/worse?
MID readings ok, or all over the place?
The reason I ask is, I think I had the wrong type of chip in mine. It's been removed for the time being.

The MID is generally inaccurate after this chip upgrade, so do the calculation the old fashioned way :y
