Finally fixed the beastie. 8-) Bumper sits about 1/4" low but all the other gaps are spot on. Just got to get it painted, sort the drop links, front wheel alignment and two front tyres... ::)

Yesterday - washed it then out came the mop and G3 - gave the whole car a once over.
Today - so far, removed  breaked tyre from rim, and hopefully later -  polish, clean glass, hoover interior

Had a fault with the  Low beam field vision for the last two years and thought i may have solved it by fitting a replacement headlamp adjuster behind the ' suspect' light untill Jimbob mentioned at the mini meet yesterday it was the wrong one so i fitted it to the other side and hey presto the  CHECK warning is no more... Happy days indeed..... Oooo I could burst into tears now ;D

All early vauxhall injection cars used to suffer knackered fuel pump relays

I'm a bit suspicious about relay box and ecu..

no way.. I'll dig deeper.. it must start at least at the second crank..

Check the idle valve and also check the throttle butterflies are fully closing.

will do :y

Cheers
