Contrast that unwashed piece of shit with the Courage and Dignity of L/Bdr Ben Parkinson at the Doncaster Parade (further down the link page). There is too much so called 'Freedom of expression' at work in todays Britain! >:(

Sometimes I feel we are far too tolerant of obvious idiots.

Sometimes I feel we are far too tolerant of obvious idiots.
Agreed .. but I'd rather live in a country where an idiot such as that is protected by the law, rather than one where either vigilante crowds were allowed to give summary justice, or the law itself did so ...
All the calls in this forum for folks to be shot in front of their families etc etc only show one thing IMHO ... a total lack of tolerance AND a total disrespect for the LAW of this fine land.

OK there always have been, and always will be, numpties such as this, and the guy that burned a poppy on facebook
BUT
The people represented by rememberance day are those that fought and died so that we (and that is everyone) have the right to freedom of speech and expression. Just because someone disagree's or is insulted by your/their opinion/action does not need the full weight of the law to prevent you/them from doing it again.
Yes move him on and allow him to carry out his right somewhere else less upsetting. But arrested, charged, prosecuted. Thin end of the wedge IMO
More and more our rights are being eroded, including the one's that allow us criticize people for doing things we might not agree with , on this forum
I would fight and die to protect that right as all of our fallen did in the past
There endeth .............

in fact you could say he wasnt doing any harm and should have been left alone, just because he was dressed diffrent is no reason to pick on someone.in fact i would go as far to say that it reflects badly on the people who got involved.
