OK there always have been, and always will be, numpties such as this, and the guy that burned a poppy on facebook

BUT

The people represented by rememberance day are those that fought and died so that we (and that is everyone) have the right to freedom of speech and expression. Just because someone disagree's or is insulted by your/their opinion/action does not need the full weight of the law to prevent you/them from doing it again.

Yes move him on and allow him to carry out his right somewhere else less upsetting. But arrested, charged, prosecuted. Thin end of the wedge IMO

More and more our rights are being eroded, including the one's that allow us criticize people for doing things we might not agree with , on this forum

I would fight and die to protect that right as all of our fallen did in the past

There endeth .............

i agree
in fact you could say he wasnt doing any harm and should have been left alone, just because he was dressed diffrent is no reason to pick on someone.in fact i would go as far to say that it reflects badly on the people who got involved.
