Title: road tax end of the month

The end of this month sees my road tax expire on the Merc. I hope overtime starts up again sometime before the end of the month  ::) ::) ::) ::)

I assume yours is post '06 and is the horrendous £470 odd for the year?

Yeah it's gone up again, cost me an arm and a leg the other day had to tax two cars for customers, both of which were in the highest tax bracket :(. I'm still recovering from open wallet surgery  :'(.

glad my Rover cost's £0 but only does 10 mpg (if I drive carefully)  :D However miggy is £270 a year :'(

Miggy wont cost nothing in tax when its crushed mate  :( That old rover will give smiles per mile with no road tax  ;)

I'm out of UK for 10 years now so forgive my ignorance but is it because that particular model is priced on Co levels ?
It's quite shocking though as it would seem to be creeping up towards the Irish levels.  >:(
I taxed mine today for six months and it cost €394 ( circa £350 ) . It's difficult to convey to you all how angry it makes you feel to pay that money .
