Hi guys, hope you're all good :)
Ok, here's the scenario.... i'm on a slight slope facing downwards. I am in 'D' with my foot on the brake pedal. I lift off the brake ever so slightly and the car creeps forward (gravity + the auto creep) and there's a real bad grinding from the brakes. once my foot's fully off the brakes obviously the noise stops.
is this normal? note, this is non-omega. in my omega this grinding doesn't happen at all (cos its awesome! :)).
i'm wondering if the brakes need lubricating? had the wheels off and nothing odd. discs have plenty of material as do the pads. brakes work absolutely fine and I don't believe there's any disc warping (as there's no vibration under any sort of braking).
Anyone experience this?
:y

.... that wire type clip going round the caliper in the pic... :y
-
Yeah, just use a flat blade screwdriver to prise it off (it might end-up down the road though) and use some pliers to pry it back in place. :y

Cheers BM :y
Sorry one last question.... when I remove the two bolts so I can remove the caliper (7mm allen head I think) they come out and are like little shiny cylinders.... i'm presuming these are affectively the sliders and will need lubricating??

No they don't need lubricating as they slide in rubber sleeves :y
-
only need to remove the 1 sliding bolt and then tilt the caliper away from the disc :y
