Brakes and Auto ''creep'' on a slope
« on: 11 June 2013, 17:15:00 »

Hi guys, hope you're all good :)

Ok, here's the scenario.... i'm on a slight slope facing downwards. I am in 'D' with my foot on the brake pedal. I lift off the brake ever so slightly and the car creeps forward (gravity + the auto creep) and there's a real bad grinding from the brakes. once my foot's fully off the brakes obviously the noise stops.

is this normal? note, this is non-omega. in my omega this grinding doesn't happen at all (cos its awesome!  :)).

i'm wondering if the brakes need lubricating? had the wheels off and nothing odd. discs have plenty of material as do the pads. brakes work absolutely fine and I don't believe there's any disc warping (as there's no vibration under any sort of braking).

Anyone experience this?
