Useless piece of sh1te?
-
Worth a call to Irmscher uk? See if they have any useless pieces of ..... in stock? ;D
-
Dirty :-\ ;)
-
Burnt
-
Is it metal or plastic?
I wonder if the suppliers of fasteners for kit car builders have something that fits :-\
-
Metal. Well, monkey metal.

I thought that http://www.bresco.com/ (http://www.bresco.com/) would have something but I can't see any :-\
I assume the clip pushes onto a flat plastic tang on the rear of the moulding and then doesn't let go?

yup

Maybe use a small Caddy Clip cut in half (sometimes called Hammer on Flange Clip or Fence Clips)? :-\
-
They are a crap idea. One or two removals and they chaif enough plastic away to leave nothing to hold onto.
I wonder if drilling the plastic tang and an R clip might work? Can't remember how wide the tangs are and if there's enough meat left for drilling? :-\
-
Geoff ::)
Might have a couple spare :-\ how many are you after?
Small bulldog clips perhaps :-\

Loads I'm afraid, they are even more brittle after being heated a fair bit.
-
Can the mesh be tweaked to grip the tabs, perhaps with small cable ties as a kind of locking ring :-\

That was going to be plan B, but all my black cable ties are a molten mess ;D
Was hoping someone recognised the clip, and I could buy a pack

No good for me, as delivery time is too long, but this is probably getting close...

Might have some in the garage, I seem to recall they use the same item on facelift bumpers for the lower vents near the fogs

Yep
In which case I could do with a few ... I'm using stainless steel wire wrapped around the lugs .... and it keeps falling off !! ... so .. a part number / source would be good .. :)

Arrived, along with receipt, thanks MDTM :)
They are slightly larger, so might have to nip up the springy bit with some pliers. Maybe.
