Post by: GarySim51 on 09 September 2013, 14:57:28
Hi Folks, got rid of the powersounder which was draining the battery, all was ok for 2 months,
got the volt meter back on pulled fuse number 7 then the current dropped down to where it should be
the book tells me number 7 is the electric windows but they are still working ok,
the only thing that changed was the interior lights on the doors are now not working.

Sounds like this applies to yours too if the int lights went out.  Silly question but are you sure you waited for the int lights to time out before measuring?  Ideally wait 15 minutes for everything to shut down with doors closed and a brick on the bonnet alarm switch before a test.

I had battery problem on my 3 lt. Turned out to be me un knowingly pressing the boot switch on the key fob, By next morning the batt was flat. I took the boot light bulb out and its been ok since. I will mention that the key fob was a cheapo from fleabay.
