battery still draining......HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hi Folks, got rid of the powersounder which was draining the battery, all was ok for 2 months,
got the volt meter back on pulled fuse number 7 then the current dropped down to where it should be
the book tells me number 7 is the electric windows but they are still working ok,
the only thing that changed was the interior lights on the doors are now not working.
any idea's ??????? :-\

wires maybe shorting out on door?

no 7 fuse on mine is all int lights  2003 diesel

as a thought-check wires under front seats--see if chaffed?

Sounds like this applies to yours too if the int lights went out.  Silly question but are you sure you waited for the int lights to time out before measuring?  Ideally wait 15 minutes for everything to shut down with doors closed and a brick on the bonnet alarm switch before a test.

Sounds like this applies to yours too if the int lights went out.  Silly question but are you sure you waited for the int lights to time out before measuring?  Ideally wait 15 minutes for everything to shut down with doors closed and a brick on the bonnet alarm switch before a test.

the main int light is still working ok ????

I had battery problems with mine.  Replaced battery now I can't open passenger window with passenger switch  :-X but can with drivers door.

I had battery problem on my 3 lt. Turned out to be me un knowingly pressing the boot switch on the key fob, By next morning the batt was flat. I took the boot light bulb out and its been ok since. I will mention that the key fob was a cheapo from fleabay.
