Yes 3.9 LSD.

4.22 is a better gearing (for me)

So want a 4.22 LSD :(

Thanks.

Yeah, I reckon you had better acceleration from roundabouts - some of them I gunned as hard as possible.

Black ones ARE faster. They just are. ;)

You need to sort the lpg before doing anything else IMO. But remember mine has different injectors. Which should match the air flow, but you never know.

A run on petrol to compare maybe?

However, I'm sure we passed the same idiot flat bed mini Isuzu(?) van sitting at 60 in the right hand lane twice :-\

If so we couldn't have been going that quick ;D

Take a 4.22 open diff and a 3.9 LSD diff, swap the crown gear and pinion gear over.

Setup and job jobbed.

Preload setup can be a bit but with good torque wrenches and care its not so bad.

Speaking of Diffs... How easy is it to do a Pinion seal? Any volunteers? :-X ::)

Probably needs something more scientific - as maybe your silly (:P) 265 SC3s were allowing you to get on power before me and my gay SC5s.

I believe Mr Wood has some useful tools in this respect. Which will obviously mean curry. Naturally.

Although back to LPG setup, I'm having doubts about those injectors, esp rereading your escapades with gumpy warm-but-not-fully-warm grumpiness.  Not that I can do much ATM anyway, as she's now declared it as "her car" until I sort out the Bullet. Doesn't she know that I wear the trousers.... ;D

I reckon Mr Sassanach could have that seal changed before the kettle has boiled ::)

Besides, did you not help change Entwoods one at Guffers meet :-\

No experience tbh. ;)

I have a 2.6 4.22 dif here. So could make 4.22 LSD if I knew how.

But I thought the innards between LSD and normal dif's where incompatible? :-\

I don't think anyone "helped" on that occasion .. 2Woody just went at it and sorted it in minutes !!!

:) :)

I was helping spectating. Not really much to worry about, other than marking the exact position of the flange bolt so it can be tightened to preserve the original preload on reassembly (and hoping you don't find it loose!).

I remember that incident episode ... when my Mrs Seth's bestest 100% pure beef burgers ended-up resembling a seriously contaminated pollen filter ...  :-[
