...fixed (thanks to a member, you know who you are :y)
Only, with the compressor now running, its had a detrimental effect on power ;D. I started out this morning with the FC reading 43mpg, its now at about 36mpg, although a strong headwind didn't help ;D
-
The price of being cold then :D
-
You can't have mpg and a/c all at once! Oh, no, no, no..... ;D

True. At least now I have the option of being cool and slow, or hot and sweaty and still slow ;D
-
One of my complaints of the car was ventilation (or apparent lack of). It seems much less of an issue with the AC on. So that's another problem out of the way.

I can see you taking this to French France ::)

I can see you taking this to French France ::)
Its possible. I'd much rather take an Omega, for the comfort factor, but this is a relatively short trip, and the Battlebus will give more room and more ground clearance on the ferry ::)

Bah! not a problem. Done the ferry plenty of times in the roller skate, although in the foot-and-mouth days the shouty little gallic retard in Calais didn't take kindly to me refusing to go through the sheep dip trough, despite just having waved one of his own in a Porsche round the side of it. Still, I won that standoff. ;D I had plenty of time on my hands, and he had a ferry of irate brits to unload. ;D

Unless someone buys and fits an Irmscher kit to it for your birthday ;D

The GSI kit would probably do the job ;D
-
Given that it did play up yesterday, trying to do 80 up a hill into a strong headwind, I'm not quite sure I have the confidence in it.
Even after the EML went out, it's power seemed to be surging (very evenly/ryhtmically, about once a second).

Would it make it go like a GSi? Init?

If nothing else, the extra weight will help down hill and for inertia on the level bits ;D

Warm weather is on its way , that a/c is going to slow it down :(

Like lpg set ups do on tick over sometimes...?
Is it delivering the required fuel pressure?

No, its when under load, you can feel the power surging in and out, at about 1s intervals.

Sorry, other than an idle hunt, I've not experienced any power surges on LPG

It ain't common rail, so all pressure controlled purely by VP44

Could be the tps playing up for the surging :y
