My plastic pig weighed less than that. ;)

The OP may refer to the original Rocket 3 from 1968.

On second thoughts that was made by BSA. :-\

Could have sworn it was a T160 that Amy's Dad restored, but no.. I checked and it's a TSS.  This very one (http://www.tomcc.org/Gallery.aspx?imageid=418), in fact.

I seem to recall that the TSS was 4 valves per cylinder. Positively 'space age' technology for a Bonnie. :y

Lucky man, Mr Rods. :y

I believe that the T150 had the engine upright in the frame, while the T160 had it 'canted' slightly forward?

Good, boys. Thanks for the info on price, weight and riding position. I didn't know it was more reliable than the American muscle. Good to know.
Now I need some used motorcycle website. I like the look of it very much since it looks so hunky and built for almost 7 footers, like myself.

Yes, the Harley really is a bike for show, much less so for riding......hence why the American plod always used jap bikes!

Lets put it another way, given that Harley is  US brand, its far from the favoured choice of Police Bike (and even the old Chips program on TV used the Kwak's)

Yes, the T150V has an upright engine, no electric start, and the gear change on the right hand side. The T150V has a number of updates over the T150 including the twin leading shoe front brake being replaced with a single disc and the 4 speed replaced with a 5 speed gearbox.

Been getting stuck behind the damned things all week. German registered, huge groups 2 abreast, wheel to wheel, touring at all of 40 MPH. Then they get offended when a group of kit cars come past the lot at every straight. >:(
