Guessing not if our current experience is anything to go by. ;D
No Bb service, no tel numbers working. Half the web site not working, especially the contact us page.
Rubbish. Ok when it works. But when it doesn't >:(

Must be something in the water, I ended up ranting at some stupid retard at my phone provider today, who got the right hump when I proved to him he was talking crap.

I rang them today as well. They were far more helpful, even if the agent was a bit of a toff.

There was an MSO earlier tonight with TTB reporting the issue first before VM. but as I'm 400 miles away at the moment i'm not too worried. :P
Basically VM's links to TTB went down, not sure of the full details yet, waiting for RFO

Sback up now. :)

I was on 30 mb until January regularly achieving 33 mb day and night. Then I was "Supercharged" to 50 mb. Now I regularly achieve between 12 mb and 25 mb day and night.
I complained, everything fine Sir must be your Ipad. >:(

Could the upgrade affect the router settings? We had Nout but trouble with our super hub 2, until I changed the security settings to wpa2 or whatever it's called.
Now the wifi is much more stable and quicker.

I now have Virgin broadband with TV & telephone package. Previously Virgin BB down a BT line. We are in Central Beds.
The BB service has been down intermittently with me during the last week but appears to be back up now.
Other providers don't seem to be much better IMHO. When down, the response from telephone support is mixed if available.

We went through a bad phase with them a while ago but it's been pretty good since then , reading the users forum they seem to have a lot of problems in certain areas ? .
-
Yes it's the appalling quality we get from phone line based providers that forced us to switch to cable. As all phone line providers are forced to deal with open reach, who refused to to replace the line but patch it up to a minimal standard. Which of course can only de grade after time, so a weak later we'd be back to square one with approaching less than 1meg download. ::)
Virgin have their issues as well mind, but we are far better off with them.

No problems over here, but then we have funny water, and dedicated fibre optic cabling, from when vm were called Cambridge cable, then virgin took them over. Went down hill from then and hasn't stopped falling.
-
Well I'm confused by it all. When Maureen died I wrote to Virgin-the TV/Phone/internet package was in her name-to inform them of this and to cancel contract.Tv package disappeared as did making outgoing phone calls-although people can still phone here-e-mail account went and internet access was stopped.Yet today I've got in and turned laptop on for other reasons and found we had 4 e-mails and internet back up and running!!

No Virgin BB yesterday evening, but it fired up again after 11pm.
Is their call centre in Wales or something ??? I think she was Welsh & kept asking me what I`d had for dinner ???
Swmbo took over after she heard me describing the pudding I was eating. Apparently she saying "What is your account number".......Cherry pie with lashings of custard. :D

Not as funny as here ;D

Virgin suffered a major issue with a routing platform in Essex yesterday, which affected a large proportion of their customers.

Thanks TB. Seems ok now.
