Title: Sprung washers that hold estate spare wheel flap latch
Post by: terry paget on 29 January 2016, 14:02:27
The latch that holds down the spare wheel flap on estates is attached to the flap by 5 little sprung washers, which push on to pins and hold the 2 halves together. Similar washers retain the door trims. The washers are missing on my Clacton estate. Vx do not stock them, I cannot get any at a local factor or see then in the Screwfix catalogue. The trim pins are 4mm in diameter, the latch pins are 3mm. Where can I get some?

I'll have a look at mine when I get home, as I am not sure what you mean.

Thanks chaps. Starlock push on washers they are. Once I had the name I found lots of suppliers, man will sell me 10 3mm washers for £1.75 inc. postage. Isn't e-bay wonderful! Yesterday I bought a reversing light switch  for £2.75 delivered.
