:y Well done, they`re brilliant and a bit scary! 8)

We couldn`t get pumpkins when I was a tiddler, our house had to make do with carving out a turnip; I can still remember the scent of the hot turnip with a night-light candle inside it! ;)

You can find some giant turnips in Westminster.

I thought this whole pumpkin carving thing was another imported American 'tradition', anyway? That and going out begging for candy sweets.. (Or, where I used to live, just money.. that's all the kids wanted - cash, £5 or more, each!)

We don't allow the boys to go trick or treating but see no harm in an in house pumpkin carving competition!

Don't be so miserable!

If you think this is me being miserable, Ljay, just wait until the Coca Cola holiday (Christmas) gets here!

Go start your own ''Bah Humbug'' thread to moan at all things fun then!  ;) ;D

Daily life is tedious enough and anything that can raise a smile and provide a little change from the daily grind gets my vote! :)
