I've just got hold of a VW Scirocco on an 09 plate 2.0 TDi 140, anyone know what I need to look out for, it's bottom of the range, yet it still has auto lights & wipers, touch screen stereo stuff and an auto dimming mirror, good car, I like it  :y

I do like your taste in cars Del. I also like the look of the VW but never driven one.
The only car I aren't over struck on that you like is BMW's :(  :D

Never driven or been in the newer ones but I think they are so ugly, look like some giant has stepped on it. Just my useless opinon of course.

Nice from the front, I can't decide on the back yet, also found a 6 CD multichanger, whilst hunting around, good level of kit for the 'Base' model, haven't a clue what they sell like though  :-\

The colour mustn't be photogenic ............. that was as good as it got.  ;) ;) ;) :y

One of those colours that's really hard to photograph without a ton of post-processing, I think..

Not sure which one looks closer to the truth - nice colour in the flesh though, and (I think) a really good looking car  :y

			-
It's very watered down, compared to the original concept car, the iroc.

It's a golf for more money with less space, work that one out!!!
Vanity costs I suppose :-\

			-
Yep, difficult to see what it brings to the party to be honest, they would have been better off calling it a Golf Coupe rather than dig up the old Scirocco name.
One of teh guys at work has one and even he admits that its a major compromise as the cabin is small, the ride quite harsh yet its not actualy that quick or nimble a car (by modern standards)

			-
if I could afford to buy one (2.0 TSIs costs 44000 euro http://binekarac.vw.com.tr/fiyat-scirocco.aspx (http://binekarac.vw.com.tr/fiyat-scirocco.aspx) here) even a second hand I wouldnt hesitate a second.. ;D

			-
not for me,every time i see one i think it is a mid-nineties civic hatchback that has been lowered and"barried"

			-
Agreed. The original Scirocco designed by Guigiaro, was a really pretty little car,the new one imo is anything but.
Has anyone seen one of the new Mini coupes yet ? Fugly or what !!  :o :o

Nice one Del - that car looks very well indeed. 8) :y
