A bit of an odd request i know,but the old lady asked me earlier on if i knew any shops local to us that sells the burtons potato puffs in a blue packet,well at least they was last time i knew,which would probably be about 15 years back.She reckons she found out on the internet that they only sell em in scotland now,so for any scottish folk on here,let me know if theres any local to you.

.....on the fate of my car.Been about three weeks now since they took it,and getting quite pissed off now,they say they are waiting for the insurers to get back,as they have already had the quote,so how long does it take to look at a quote and say carry on.

Well,the third parties insurers phoned today,and they are coming to collect it tomorrow,even though they havent admitted liability yet ,so still might be quite a few weeks yet .One other thing is,i still have the bumper in the shed,my question is,should i let them have it or tell em i had to scrap it,because it was no good. :-/

Anyone on here know how to get rid of viruses from a laptop?,as its getting totally unusable.I have just loaded a mcafee security disk on it,but when i have scanned it,it doesent pick anything up,and the pop up thing still keeps poping up saying there are so many viruses in the system,click here to remove them,and when you click on it,they ask you for money.How do i get rid of it?.

Inspector from the council just been round to inspect the damp problem we have in the bedroom and landing around the window areas,and says we cant do anything about it ,and just to put kitchen and bathroom paint on it ,rather than reseal window frames outside which are all split,and fit an air vent,how the hell do these idiots get the jobs.

Who watched it,and thought the garage where you take your car to repair yourself was a brilliant idea.Apparently its a fully equipped garage with ramps and tools,and you just rent a spot by the hour,very handy if you havent got the facilities at home.

Anyone had any experience of this sheme which the local council runs,as i reckon the old lady is being ripped off blind.Its basically a scheme for people on certain benefits,e.g disability.low income etc,for homeowners.The limit they have is 30,000,whicc means they can have any work done to that amount without paying out a penny,until they sell the house or die.Well to cut a long story short they have been quoted £12,000 just for a new kitchen,and that dont include any decorating or boxing of pipework and even taking away any rubbish ,so any views welcome,as i dont want them to get ripped off.

Just bought an hp photosmart c309g-m printer,and want to set it up so that its wireless,problem is the laptop has a virgin mobile dongle(which is shit),can it be done and how.Tried doing it by wi-fi,and wireless,but nothing,so at the moment i have to use the lead,and by the way the instructions arent worth the paper they are printed on. :-/
