Decided its time to consolidate my numerous small boxes into 1 larger one.

Looking at something like these (subject to measureing it will fit where I want it to go)

Had a look in Machine Mart at lunch, hey only had the cheaper ones on display, that felt nasty to use.  are the HD ones better?

Due to now servicing a fair few cars, I am getting fed up with little bits of old oil, brake fluid, atf etc in various containers waiting to be disposed of.....

Mark has the perfect solution (in my mind)  a 20L Vuaxhall oil drum in the corner of the garge, just for waste fluids.  Nice and easy, just 1 container to empty your oil pan into, then drain that at the tip, and bring home again.

So, has anyone got one, or something similar waiting to be thrown away they no longer want?  If you are coming to Newent, even better!

Something like

Nice wide opening, with a refastenble lid.

Open drain plug, convieniently placed at the lowest point.

refit drain plug,

refil through the dipstick where you also check the level!

BUT please can we all put something along the lines of the content in the title, save any embarrasement clicking on something at an inappropriate moment.

I propose starting all threads with page3 style pictures with NWS (Not Work Safe) then the title of your post, so they can be easily avoided when neccessary
