General Discussion Area / Someone Has Some Explaining To Do
« on: 24 September 2007, 15:18:44 »
I tried to log into the forum today, but it kept coming up with something like......... password does'nt match username  :o , after trying and trying, I gave up as a bad job.
Whilst reading through some posts, I saw that I was an ex-member   :o :'( :o but can't understand why.
I've been putting 2 and 2 together, and I think I've just about got 4. I had abit of a slagging match yesterday with our lass, nothing major or drastic, (started over a pizza actually) and ended with her going on about how I'm on the pc alot. Our young'un phones up and needs picking up from footy, (my excuse to go out in the miggy), I'm only going to be about 20 mins, so I left the pc on, infact, I stayed logged into OOF  ::).
On my way out, our lass said, is it ok to go on now (pc), I shouted back "yeh, but log me off first"

The little cow, wait till she's home from work, (abit tight me thinks). So......... I've re-registered with the same user name and details, I'm not bothered about the post count, did'nt have that many and I dont take notice of it.

One question to the Admin's though, is it possible to dig deep and see what time I became an ex-member ?

MMMmmm!!!! bit of a bugger if a couple of tyre's are flat on her Civic in the morning.  ::)

personally I think it's all went to far, but there is bugger all you can do about it now. Anyway I think theres a wee loophole here maybe, as you are allowed to smoke in areas or structures with 3 open sides. Therefore, what you do is build a round pub, with all openable sides, or three quarters at least :y

What about a pub/smoking establishment, with a sliding glass roof like wembley  ::)

General Discussion Area / R.I.P. the Pub... What about this.....
« on: 23 September 2007, 15:59:54 »
I've read all the posts regarding (R.I.P.the Pub) a good topic  ;) so what about this........ (this is all made up, but just a thought)
Smoking houses.... that sell beer etc...
Think about it, a pub shuts down for whatever reasons, (about to be pulled down to build 500 houses  ::), you buy the pub and land from the brewery. You wont have to do much refurbishment, it's already in there, but the sole purpose of it all is, your starting a new venture, a smoking house, somewhere where folks can go to have a fag, smoke, call it what you will.
You apply and get a licence to sell alchohol  ::) and there you have it. You could call it........ The Benson & Hedges Arms, The Cock and Woodbine, The Red End (lion ::)) The Dog And Roll Up, Halfway Tip(house) get the picture ?????
So basically, it's a legal house ( for smoking) but you sell beer, lager, shorts, AND NOT FOOD of any kind, unless you sell nuts/crisps, then you could have a nuts/crisps garden. The idea of a nuts/crisps garden, is so if someone is stood at the fag bar enjoying a B&H, and someone buy's a packet of crisps or nut's, you could say to them.......... would you mind going into the nut/crisps garden to eat your food, I'm trying to have a fag ere !!!! ;D

Just a thought....... Our lass, get us another tinny will yer  ;D

(I can see alot of Fag/Pub names following this............)

Just use a bigger block of ice and some elbow grease. That just shows a lack of effort.  ;D ;D ;D
