You will always struggle withs that welder outside, just hasn't got enough gas supply to cope with draughts
Presumably a full size bottle overcomes this problem :-\

Full size welder with eurotorch would(with big regulator and bottle),even then wind  will affect weld quality
fixed that for you

Well saw your thread and thought---anf minute now fone going to ring---maybe you know that most motor factors do larger gas bottles-you need a different regulator though-sip do 1-I never bothered due to my 185 amp welder as well

outside-make a wind brake - or move yourself so that wind do not blow gas shield while welding --and read what i said about regulator ;) ;)

turn wire speed down a touch and try supporting your welding hand ---not bad mate-seen worse---and dont tighten regulator too much on gas bottle-for some reason they dont like it--remember i showed you with my sip welder(like yours) :y :y and keep at it mate :y :y :y :y :y

Webby you can loose 30-35 kgs at most .. this may impact acceleration less than 0.1 secs on a 1700 kg car..

so not worth it..  but if you want loose weight for health reasons, do it very very  slowly :y

ps: now calculated it actually effects 0.15 secs ;D

haha! thanks cem.

care to share the formula / calculation with the class? :)

easy.. no need to go in detailed calculations since f=m*a

assume your engine with X force  accelerates a 1700 kg car in 9 secs from 0 to 100km/h ..

then 30/1700= 0.0176 then

9*0.0176=0.1584 secs
You lost me after 'assume' .....
STMO what that means mate is----for every 20 boxes boxes of Dunkin Donuts you eat-you need to fit a bigger engine---got it now mate

cant see why not as gas should just stay put as solenoid wont open unless up to temp and engine running-will pop like a cork though--mine did when removed injectors to get to f""""""" coil pack

Painted four new 16" steel wheels for a mate's Capri. They were new Citroen Picasso spares, and matt black.
Now, with £20 worth of 2k silver paint and clear they are dark silver and should look really good when we put them on the car next week.
bit dodgy that as Capri was rear wheel drive and a Picasso is wrong wheel drive-nobody told you about wheel offset then- :o :o

had a serious miss fire on way home Thursday-so last night  i got leads + coil pack off and fitted new leads and pack that's been on shelf in workshop for a few months-started her up today and all good--yes they're genuine parts---get parts and store them-you never know when you going to need them--as most problems occur at night or late sundays >:(
