When you say the radio needs to be on for 10-15 mins is that holding down the AS button or just leaving the radio switched on.

have you a f/l front bumper crash bar + the polystyrene bit
i was parked up today when the car in front reversed a good 3mtrs straight into my front bumper. bumpers well & truly fubbered, twice now within 4 months. the last time it was the crash bar & a mounting + bonnet. bonnet ok this time. luckily the last time when I removed the bumper it actually sprung back into shape & is re-useable & I have both mountings that hold the bar behind the bumper. so just may have to locate a crash bar
It may be illegal but thats like having the seat fully back to drive normally, Take my brother for instance 6'.3" the airbag wouldnt even touch him. That is cr*p. It is illegal to have a child seat (with child) fitted in the front passenger seat of a vehicle equipped with a passenger airbag, period. The only legal exception is where a vehicle has the option to disable the passenger airbag
When I crashed my astra I had the seat-back laid back enough, that airbag just brushed my forehead and im 5.9
When I had a backward facing car seat and a front airbag, I had the seat in the fully back postion so there was less chance of the bag making full contact with the seat, after seeing the airbags deploy in my old astra I had an idea of the position in which it will not make much contactIllegal
use a scannerI applied online and attached my own digital photo which was a bit of a faff , new one was with me within the week which impressed me tbhDidn't see that option, Jon, but they wanted copies of the lad's birth certificate and wife's birth certificate, so.........
