Just clean your switch, it'll just cost you your time. (I appreciate the weather though )  :y

 Oh right will do it tomoz if its raining or not it needs to be done but whats the chances of cleaning it and putting it back in and working fine or am i just hopeing lol. Ive just seen a pic on here of that selectet gear sensor what does it mean by puting a 2/4mm punch through it to line the hole and shaft up  ::)

Hi everyone ive just seen a comment on here and now im confussed as what this sensor is called can anyone help me plz my car dont go in first gear on an auto box it goes through all others fine just not 1st when i select the1st gear manually on my 2.2 its drives for like a 4 seconds then reves up. So im going to clean or replace the selected gear sensor on the gear box but my lights on my gear leaver are fine one comes on as and when i select the gear and ive just seen a comment whitch they have called it a range switch are these 2 diffrent sensors or the same one but with a diffrent name. Check your oil level+ clean up switch or leave it and wreck your gearbox-simples :y

Do you mean the selected gear sensor module thing was gana clean it today but the poxy weather do you think it is that selected gear thing i took it to vauxhall and they said yes most prob but didnt give me a 100%  :o. If it is ive got the money for one ive seen on ebay for 89 pound is that a good price.

My omega is stuck in limp mode as it wont go in first gear but works fine in all others i still use mine 7 days aweek for work just the prob is ifs slow on take of put yours in 1st gear manually and see if it moves or not if it moves alittle bit then revs then you have same prob is me  :-X

Hello mate i did ask if hes doing the gearbox he said yer i see him click the gearbox option  but he did seem abit useless. Have you had the same sort of prob then philrich mine drives through all gears nicely apart from 1st and i think its in limp mode but my s button doesnt work or snow button and checked fuses and there all fine many thanks  :-\

hello all hope your all well.

ive just got my codes back for my 2.2 2002 auto gearing prob. cant quit remenber what he said but one code was to do with the wire it coulnt turn on a certain light so it put engine management light on or something.

and the other code was something mil transmission mudule wasnt reading something like that but cant quit remmember the words he said  ::) but heres the codes hopefully you guys will know what i mean

and also my kids thought it would be funny to pull the buttons of my key fob so i now have to use key to unlock and lock the doors if i get a new fob can you register the fob yourself or as it got to be coded in by garage or dealer, many thanks again darren

hello all,

my motor on my drivers chair that lifts it higher and lower has stopped working but it has stopped right up the top and i cant get comfy as its to high was wondering is there any way i can lower the chair by manual (by hand), the motor is just making a clunking noise does that mean the motor is naft,

Hello. I had this prob with mine but it also went in the back rear passenger at first i thought it was the mattrix until i see the pond on the rear floor so i checked the drainage and the one under the front passanger window was like a pond so i poke a mettal rod down there and it drained it out it was full of mud and leafs then flushed it through. Hope this helps

looks complicated lol i thought it would just be a bolt of and clean and bolt back on but im not sure what it means by lining it up, is it srung loaded or does it mean it goes back a certain way,    ???    ::)

With the recent rain/salt/ on the road, muight be worth giving the Transmission Selector Switch a clean!

think theres a fuse if so under steering column 2nd row down from top extreme left(9) hope that helps :y

hi mate ive checked the fuses and they were fine  :'(
