ECP (if its eurocarparts) want £70 for a single Pagid branded drum with bearing pressed in. Thought about AGP but the word German prevented me from looking at their website. Will try Ford on Monday. I'd buy it from a reputable motor factor (I'd buy pattern, heck its not my car!) but ebay is far from reputable

Need to buy a rear brake hub (with bearing pressed in). They go for £40 each on ebay but could be Chinese crap. Eurocarparts wants £70 for one (with ABS - non ABS costs £40!)

Any ideas?

When I looked up common faults for this model it looked like like the diesel models has the issues. Good call on the TF. Hopefully there will be a sump plug

Anyone know if it has a DMF fitted on the petrol models? Friend has one and someone told him his "DMF is on the way out". Symptoms are grinding in second and third though when I test drove it I did not notice it.

I need to get organised, my lever arch files aren't cutting it any more. Does anyone own one they can recommend or place to get something decent (under £80 - including suspension files)  something like this one below.

With the getrag 250 or the ZF, fuel economy would suffer badly at motorway speeds. A 1:1 ratio in top gear would mean you'd be thrashing it at high speeds. On the other hand, if you plan to drag race your omega.....
