filing cabinets
« on: 16 December 2014, 18:57:18 »

I need to get organised, my lever arch files aren't cutting it any more. Does anyone own one they can recommend or place to get something decent (under £80 - including suspension files)  something like this one below.

http://www.staples.co.uk/2-drawer-a4-filing-cabinet-silver-black/cbs/398822.html?promoCode=300300666&Effort_Code=WW&Find_Number=398822

I could just buy that one, but like everything else I would rather buy something decent once, so thought I get some first hand experience from you sophisticated people.

Ikea used to do quite nice cabinets - double width cupboard with a pull out suspension file thing.. they might still do, actually, but I do know a friend of mine picked one up (now residing in my house) for all of about £20 on eBay..

Many different varieties of these often available at general auctions,  and usually only £5-10.

Now why didn't I think of that. Found many office clearouts on ebay that are fairly local for not a lot of money  :y

Just won an auction for a 4 drawer cabinet for £9.60! Cheers for the suggestion. This one cost £150 new. Glad I didn't pay £65 for the one above!

Missus won't be very pleased  ;D
