Wow  ;D ;D ;D Look at the prices  ;D ;D ;D

http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/ringtaxi/taxi.php

Just seen the price  :o

The Ring Taxis (there are two) are V10 BMW M5s with modified suspension and brakes, one of them driven by Sabine Schmitz (formerly Sabine Reck). Both come highly recommended, but Sabine is said to be faster. A lap costs €195, but can take three passengers so it's pretty good value split three ways.

Need 2 more to join to get the price split 3 ways then  ;D

I could not share Sabine 3 ways shes mine all mine I tell you nice romantic drive for two round the nurburg, would have to try and not to scream like a girl or do a stemo in my pants but mmmm makes me sweat just thinking about it

Strangely. I've just had that Dpf sensor code. Came on with a tank of BP. And has gone now its back on shell. Has just done a regen too.   Regens do make the car a little rougher and smellier so could it just be that?

not quite sure what all that meant :-[ but we filled the car up with shell when we first got it

General Car Chat / exhaust fumes
« on: 31 May 2013, 09:25:14 »
Hi guys

just got a vectra C estate 55 reg the revised model. the 1.9 cdti auto 150

when you turn on the heater on cold at about 2/3 speed you smell exhaust fumes quite strongly in the car, could this be a leaking manifold, any suggestions please.

We have only juts got the car so can quite easily send it back to the dealers etc car does seem a bit lumpy some times on tick over too but not all the time, runs well when moving does not smoke etc

any ideas please

Thanks everyone, looking forward to getting the Insignia, main reason was economy and interior. I did want a 7 series but to get anything with the same miles and year would have cost a lot more. I know Cornel Custuard likes his and i did in honesty enjoy my 3 day test drive, mind you car only had 300 miles on it so who wouldnt.

Only issue would be boot size, well not volume but height it is quite low due to the sloping back which looks great, wifeys just got a vectra c etstate and its so much bigger than the insignia and the miggy mainly in height which means doggy can stand up in the boot, his wife is shorter so shes ok in all of them.

just waiting pateintly for a collection date now  ::) ::) :y

i do like the XF not driven one yet again out of my price range for a couple of years :'(

What you've linked there is probably my ideal next car  :-*

Hope you get one never driven the XJ but had a the older xj6 on a demonstration was bloody lovely like sitting in an arm chair with this huge bonnet, nice warm gearbox next to you very nice. I would love a bmw 7 not the pretiest car in the world but great to drive but will have to wait so i can make sure i get the right one not the cheapest one :y
