Right going to get rid of the car as ive already got another one its still got 4 months tax and about 10 months mot. Its got a few little niggles like the drivers door has a lazy motor but ive already got the part just haven't got round to doing it and the drivers side rear window doesn't work. I think the thermostat probably needs changing as the temperature sits a bit low as well but other than that drives very well. Service history up to 102k and its only on 107k cambelt done at 90k. If there's no interest at all ill take that tax off tomorrow and shall be breaking it as i need £400 out of i but i dont mind how i get it. If you would like some picture please ask and ill email them to you.

Just brought a 1.8 vectra to get to and from work as the 2.5 is killin me on petrol and insurance but I don't know what to do with regards to getting rid of the omega it's got 4 months tax and I think it 10 months mot but its got a couple of little niggles. It's a green 2000 CDX does anyone need any parts off it if I was to break it. Rik

Also make sure all the door locks work as my td5 cost me £500 to sort out a week after i bought it. Also the injector harness has a few problems with oil so read up on that. This is a very good website for all the fixes http://www.discovery2.co.uk/

General Car Chat / Service and thermostat

Im going to attempt to do both of the above by following all the guides but is there anything else i should do while im doing the thermostat also what associated parts would i need when doing theses jobs.
I already have the coolant and spark plugs and the gaskets for the plenum obviously i need oil and filter and all the other filters. But is there any little bits i need when putting it back together.
Also is there anyone in Essex or close that wouldn't mind helping i don't mind helping out if you have a bigger job and need an extra set of hands ill help you with that aswell. To be honest i would just like some one to make sure im doing it alright i don't want you to do all the work and i stand there and watch. i am more than happy to travel a little way or you could come to me.
