Hi

I need both gaskets replacing due to oil leaks, can anyone recommend anyone reliable to do this for me. I'm based in kingston upon thames... and I dont want my pants pulling down!

how much should I be looking at for this sort of job?

I've got a 2001 3.2 v6 elite

having done mine 5 times due a warped cover i can do start to finish with breathers cleaned in about 2 hours. if you were closer to me id help you out.

Hello mate you will need to buy orginal cam covers gaskets from vx, if you have a trade card will be much cheaper if not pm AndyC on here for a price and dont forget the black sealant.(90485251). Once you have them try a pm to chrisgixer he should be able to help :y

I'm over in Kingston a fair bit, MrsT's Parents London Pad is right next to John Lewis..

Sadly I keep no tools in London, all back home  :(

On the 3.2's it's not actually a bad job lot easier than earlier V6's.

What tools do you have?

I'm not far from the town centre just off richmond road... unfortunately I dont have any tools either :( or access to a garage
I dont mind travelling a bit, but im stuffed during the week, so it would have to be a weekend
