 Vauxhall codes: 87L, 87U, 137 'Rembrandt Silver'
silver on the log book  ;)

Thanks! How silvery or goldy is it in person?

I haven't actually seen this Omega yet, I'm just brave  :y

I'm not saying it's defo rembrandt silver , but could be ,
paint code will be on the vin sticker ,
(by the driver door catch eye on b pillar )

if it is rembrandt silver , it's a nice colour , mopped and polished ,it is more silvery , gets golder as it gets dirty  :y

I think insurance companies are ok with oem rims ,though if they can screw you for more premium they will.
BUT cheap Chinese or aftermarket rims have been known to fail/cause accidents

as for speedo reading wrong ect , i use a wheel website calculator to check

Let us all hope that Derv will soon be resigned to history when it comes to cars. :)

I'm not anti-derv though. It makes an excellent choice for cement mixers, canal boats, and lorries. :)

petrol and derv will be history soon as far as cars go,
the new school of thought is electricary , cars that run on batteries  ::)
I tried them pound shop batteries in me sky remote
we are doomed  :o

I used to routinely sprinkle salt on all savoury food. At some point I decided to give it a miss for a while. I found I could actually taste the flavours in the food rather than just taste salt, no matter what I was eating it with.
I don't bother with it at all now, apart from on chips. Must have salt on chips.

you'll be saying you don't like the smell of petrol fumes next   :-\

I have salt on just about everything, and 2 1/2 spoons of sugar in my coffee, and loads of cakes and biscuits, and unhealthy cereal for my breakfast. Been nice knowing you all  :(
The government has been removing salt from all food for a while now , they did it slowly ,so most people did not notice .
I put salt on most tinned ,processes foods , food I cook from scratch i add salt ,as per pretty much every recipe .

salt is needed or food tastes bland , all you "healthy people" who avoid salt like it's some Russian nerve toxin , try some salt on your food , go on, treat yourself , you'll still be alive tomorrow   :y

I have sweetener in coffee , drink low cal pop ,soda water with a dash of black currant in pubs ,but the "sugar tax " will still hit me in the pocket because supermarkets are bound to put up prices on no sugar pop because of increased demand

Are we getting a tax refund for all the salt they have been stealing from food recently  :-\
and what are they dong with all the salt ? not gritting my road with it when it snows ,that's for sure  :(

Nor here.  ::)  One of the local councils sent all their staff home when the red alert for snow was issued on 'elf 'n' safety grounds.  ::)

Unbelievably, that included the snowplough and gritter truck drivers!  >:(

My road consists of a big hill with mostly houses , at the top is a school, at the bottom is the council depot where the gritters operate out of , but they don't grit my road ,
during a recent cold/snow period , a bus skidded sideways ,blocking both lanes ,right outside the council depot  ;D

Most chip dealerships offer salt and vinegar as a no cost option  :y
unless your a health freak and cook the chips yourself from real potatoes  :o
