A drunk man who smelled like beer sat down on a subway next to a priest.

The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket.

He opened his newspaper and began reading. After a few minutes the man turned to the priest and asked,  "Say Father, what causes arthritis?"

The priest replies, "My Son, it's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, too much alcohol, contempt for your fellow man, sleeping around with prostitutes and lack of a bath."

The drunk muttered in response, "Well, I'll be  damned"  Then returned to his paper.

The priest, thinking about what he had said, nudged the man and apologised.  "I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to come on so strong on you son.. How long have you had arthritis?"

The drunk answered, "I don't have it, Father. I was just reading here that the Pope does."

LMAO ;D ;D ;D ;D :y,the rest are pretty good as well :y

I tell you at the minute if it can go wrong, it will. Anyway got a parking ticket basically the way it goes at my mums house is, parked up and it's a permit holders area, now I don't live there so I don't have a permit, you can stay there for two hours without the permit. Now it's there and a traffic warden comes down and books the car at 14:21 (or around that time), my Dad goes out at 14:58 and puts a visitors permit on the car. Traffic warden comes back at around 16:45 puts a ticket on the car at 16:50, goes out there, permit has the wrong date on there, it has crossed out Thursday September 8th, today being the 7th, traffic warden said I know that permit was put on today, but rules are rules and it's the wrong day.

Now as she knew it was put on there today I would've thought she could have left it? With it being my car though she couldn't do this. Is there anyway what so ever I can get off of this, I mean there more than likely won't be but anyone know of anyway. Even have CCTV footage of the permit being put on the car, all timed and dated.

I would write to the Authority responsible for issuing the ticket and explain the facts in detail whilst requesting it is cancelled.  That is your right Del, and it often produces a favourable result! 8-) 8-)
Will do LZ and thanks  :y
